Since 2006, Marlo has provided consulting and technology solutions to the transport and logistics sector.
The company is located in Norway and Portugal. Much experience has been gained through extensive participation in EU-funded research and development projects. In addition to using the results of such projects to establish commercial products and operations, Marlo has established an extensive network of partners throughout Europe and beyond.
Visible results of such projects are:
- The maritime transport solution (RoRo) used by Stora Enso to move products from the Nordic countries through Gothenburg to Zeebrügge is based on concepts developed in an EU project led Marlo staff.
- The company MIXMOVE was founded by Marlo in 2017, based on products developed in the EU project iCargo and used by organisations like 3M, DHL, DG Schenker, Gebrüder Weiss and others.
- The new logistics single window used by all Portuguese ports was developed in the project JUL, where Marlo was one of the technology providers.
